ABOUT ME

Hard worker, detail-oriented, works well with others, blah-blah-blah.

I mean don't get me wrong, of course I'm all of those things, but let's be real, anyone can look up good buzzwords to put on a résumé. Here's who I really am, inside and outside the office.

TEN PRINCIPLES OF MY LIFE:

  1. Positivity is key. Everyday you make a choice about your attitude and that choice affects others just as much as it affects yourself.

  2. Try to learn something new every week, whether that is a simple little-known fact, a new lifehack, or why pandas are so chill. The knowledge adds up and you never know when it will come in handy.

  3. Never miss an opportunity to connect with someone.

  4. No one is ever too unimportant for your time.

  5. Be willing to compromise, but don't be a pushover.

  6. Always look at a challenge as an adventure.

  7. Leave someone in a better mood than they were in before.

  8. Encouragement is never overdone.

  9. Let your work show your success, not your voice.

  10. NEVER leave a plate of nachos unfinished.

I am a:

HOCKEY FANATIC

MUSIC LOVER

world-traveler

And of course a foodie

  • I LOVE to be in front of people, which is pretty cool seeing that public speaking is the #1 fear in America... even before death. THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT WOULD LITERALLY RATHER DIE THAN GIVE A CLASS PRESENTATION. Really? I mean, I'm not fearless (Yeah I'm looking at you, leeches) but put me in front of a crowd of 5 to 5,000,000 and I'll never feel more comfortable.

  • "Mom, why would you buy that parrot for $600 when you can get a queen mattress, box-spring, and bed frame from the local bedding store for $100 less?" That's how my nickname "walking commercial" came to be. My mom even told me I should apply for a job there. Unfortunately, that store wasn't looking to hire a 6-year-old salesman. If they could see me now...

  • I have a HUGE passion for helping others and hearing their stories. I love to volunteer, whether it is at food shelves, hand-delivering meals to the homeless, or helping out with the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Physical help is always great, but listening to the story of someone's life and having a true HUMAN CONNECTION is what I live for.
