Related Work

Throughout my college experience, I have learned an astronomical amount of information that can be directly applied to real-world work environments pertaining to advertising, public relations, communications, and business administraion. Below, I have listed a variety of projects and pieces of work showing off the skills that I have obtained while attending college.

Related Projects

PROJECT 1: GROUP RED BULL CASE STUDY

This project was the first creative brief that I had ever created. It was a fantastic experience because I was able to interact with a real company to understand how they are successul. This was a group project so it was an awesome opportunity to work as a team and it was essential to remain in constant communication to complete it accurately and efficiently. I volunteered to be the leader of the group so I was in charge of directly contacting the client while obtaining experience in delegating particular jobs to my other group members.

PROJECT 2: INDIVIDUAL RED BULL CASE STUDY

Similar to the project above, I was assigned to do a Red Bull case study for another class; however, this time I was forced to do it individually and outside of a team dynamic. This taught me how to effectively accomplish every single aspect of a case study by myself instead of relying on a team to do part of the project as well. The individual Red Bull case study not only taught me self-reliance, but reinforced my knowledge on case studies as well.

PROJECT 3: CREATIVE BRIEF FOR COVERGIRL

The project below is a creative brief I did for the Covergirl: The Force Awakens line. This assignment required us to find a campaign that had advertisements in both print and online forms. I decided to choose Covergirl because it is a product that I have never interacted with before and thought it would pose a challenge to market towards a target market that I have never been apart of. This was a rewarding experience that really taught me to see this from the viewpoint of the customer.

PROJECT 4: CONSUMER JOURNEY MAP

I was assigned this project in my Brands and Branding course where we had to make a consumer journey map for a typical consumer of Snapple tea. This assignment taught me to think more about the consumer's life outside of just purchasing the product, but the aspects of their daily life.

PROJECT 5: MEDIA BUYING AND MEDIA PLANNING ASSESSMENT

In this project, I was assigned to a specific company to analyze and create a plan on what channels of media would be most beneficial for the company to buy. This involved a lot of different research using Media Flight Plan, PRIZM, and MRI+. The final decisions I made and the research that I did  for this company earned me an 'A' on the project and you can view that excel sheet by clicking the logo to the left.

Internship Work

PROJECT 6: RADIO ADVERTISEMENTS

These sound clips below are actually not from a class, but were written, voiced, and produced by me for my internship. The intern name the radio host gave me was "Frat Boy," based solely off of the fact that I was in a fraternity. I was the lead for their account for Goodlife Fitness and I was in charge of reaching out to the college demographic of their target audience. Overall I created over 20 different advertisements on the #1 morning show in Lincoln, NE (Nielsen, 2015)

Project 7: Public Appearences

Being a radio personality was a lot more than just waking up early and talking on the radio! I was also in charge of coming up with unique ideas to get views on social media, post on social media, take on the role as a variety of personas, develop creative content, as well as interact with customers in a variety of elements. All of the below pictures are examples of some of the content I have created, conceptualized, or published.
